Several years ago my family was stationed in Alaska. We visited Denali National Park during one of our moves.

This particular day was an amazing day! I’d been wanting a good moose picture but until that day hadn’t had much luck and kept missing them.

My husband surprised our family with a Corolla Wild Horse Tour! I’d wanted to go for a long time and we really needed a good family day out, so this was a fun surprise!

I went on an adventure this week. I spent a few days in the Outer Banks camping with my family. This was probably our last trip with our little camper which we have long ago outgrown.

Memorial Day we thought it would be appropriate to visit Appomattox and see where the Civil War ended.

If you are looking for a unique hike in Virginia, the Blue Ridge Tunnel is a fun choice! It’s an old train tunnel that has been turned into a hiking trail.

The Natural Bridge Caverns in Virginia are a very fun place to visit!

Memorial Weekend we visited Natural Bridge in Virginia. It’s a pretty neat place!

After visiting Monticello, we had time to drive a small portion of the Blue Ridge Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park.

Last month we spent Memorial weekend in Virginia. We visited Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.

Last summer we were privileged to visit George Washington’s Mount Vernon.

I know sometimes it helps to be able to visualize what art could look like on your walls. I thought perhaps it would help if I share some of the ways I’ve hung my own art.
