Cherry Blossoms
Ah Spring! Autumn may be my favorite season but Spring is a close second! It’s been so fun discovering what is blooming this year!
In this post, I thought I would share some of the cherry blossoms I have found.
I love when the cherry trees start to blossom! They are one of my favorite things to photograph in Spring.
I was a little bummed to be missing the blooms in Washington DC this year, but I discovered that nearby Virginia Beach has a Cherry Blossom Festival as well! The trees were quite lovely!
The wind was blowing quite a bit the day the family and I visited and the petals falling reminded me of snow.
There are other places around here that cherry trees are blooming as well.

Kwanzan is one of my favorite varieties. Those pink blooms are just so COOL!
If you look closely enough you can see that these buds are coated in pollen! The Great Pollening Season is definitely upon us here!
