Hello! I’m glad you are here and want to know more about me. I am a Coast Guard wife and mother of three. We have two kitties and a saltwater fish tank.
I am a homemaker who fell in love with photography while scrapbooking our adventures! Although I have taken photographs since my parents handed me my first film camera as a child, it was becoming a mother that really brought me to photography. I wanted to take better pictures of my babies and, one Mother’s Day, my awesome Hubby bought me a Canon Rebel T3i. I was hooked! I have been learning about photography ever since and upgraded to a Canon 5D Mark III.
My Husband’s job requires us to move every few years so it’s been fun having new locations to explore and photograph. It’s been an amazing journey as we’ve been blessed to live in seven States! Our latest move brought me to North Carolina.
I love photographing seascapes! I am excited to live near the Outer Banks of North Carolina where I can find gorgeous lighthouses and beautiful coastal scenes to share with you!
I love going out in nature! It’s quiet, peaceful and I have room to breathe and think. Anxiety can melt away and creatively capturing what I see is energizing! We have an amazing world!
The vast night sky, ocean & redwoods make me realize just how miniscule I am and just how big God is! I find connection there.
It is my hope that, through my lens, you too will find a sense of connection, joy and tranquility, as we explore our beautiful planet.
