Evening at Bald Hills

I couldn’t resist checking out Bald Hills one more time before the Lupine is done blooming. The sunset didn’t disappoint! What a gorgeous evening!

The Lupine was starting to go to seed so I made it just in time!

Unfortunately some of the Lupin had been trampled. Please! If you’re going to go, don’t destroy nature to get the “perfect shot”.

We stopped to enjoy the stars and I tried out star trails for the first time! That was fun!

I can’t wait to try them again and do better next time! I’m sure this is something I’ll be practicing this summer.

These are both single exposures (no stacking).
