Scrapbooking & Printing
We all have a story to tell.
I started scrapbooking as a teenager right around the time I fell in love with my now Husband. I started out with card making so switching to scrapbooking seemed the natural thing to do. I am mostly a traditional scrapbooker although I have dabbled in digital. Many of my layouts are hybrid. My Mom tells me I’ve always loved playing with paper!
I’ve enjoyed scrapbooking all kinds of stories. Both the highs and the lows of life. I believe everyone has a story and everyone’s story matters! I think scrapbooking keeps me sane.
You don’t have to be a scrapbooker to share those memories with others. It’s ok to have some pictures in regular albums or picture books. As long as they are displayed and visible it’s all good.
Get those photos off your computer and somewhere you can see them! It’s important to make sure your photographs aren’t just sitting around on some thumb drive or hard drive somewhere, never to be seen again. Print them! Hang them on your wall, display them in a photo book or album, or try your hand at scrapbooking.
I want my kids to know who they are and where they came from. I want them to know the “real” stuff of life. I want them to know that people and life aren’t perfect but that’s ok. Life can be messy but it’s a beautiful mess! I want them to know that their story matters!
Your story matters!
