Ark Encounter

If you’re ever in Kentucky, don’t miss visiting the Ark Encounter! It is an incredible experience of a life size replica of Noah’s Ark!

I thought I would share a few fun pictures with you, not too many though, as you’ll want to discover all that there is to see for yourself!

“I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” Genesis 9: 13-16

We spent several hours exploring the Ark. It is full of amazing information, models, displays, and artifacts. I loved the music they played so much that I brought it home with me!

If you’ve ever had questions about the Ark and the Flood, chances are you’ll find your answer there! It was really neat seeing how they probably housed and fed all the animals, stored supplies and lived.

This is an amazing timeline of the whole world!

We visited in summer, during 100 degree weather, so it was a relief to be in the cool interior of the Ark! They even serve ice cream!

The grounds are filled with beautiful gardens!

After checking out the Ark, they also have a small zoo with more neat experiences.

Being there and experiencing everything fills you with awe! What an amazing and wonderfully loving God we have!
