Lassen Volcanic National Park - Part Five

June13-79.jpg

(Ok, so it’s technically post 7 on the subject! LOL!)

We’ve reached the final post for our fun weekend at Lassen!

After climbing Cinder Cone, we returned to Subway Cave. I decided to take my cell phone and not my heavy camera this time. Sometimes it’s nice not to carry around heavy equipment and just be in the moment.

Then we drove back through the Park again to see the lakes one more time.

Lake Helen was that gorgeous blue with Lassen Peak towering above!

We swung by the Bumpass Hell parking lot again and I was delighted to find that the boulder wasn’t surrounded by tourists and photographers!

We also stopped at Emerald Lake so I could take pictures in the daylight. This gorgeous lake definitely lives up to it’s name!

We noticed there was a nice little trail to hike around the lake, which we probably would’ve taken if we hadn’t been so tired!

There was so much more to Lassen Volcanic National Park that we would’ve loved to explore! Perhaps we’ll be blessed to return someday!

Next time we’ll find a camp closer to the Park!

I hope you’ve enjoyed these posts and perhaps they’ll even be helpful to you for your own visit!
