Kodiak Bald Eagles

It’s Throw Back Thursday! Last week I had fun sharing some old pictures of Kodiak Bears so this week I thought I would share some Bald Eagles from our time in Kodiak.

Please keep in mind these were taken from a safe distance, you don’t want to mess those incredibly sharp talons and beaks!!!

How many can you count in this single image???

In winter the Eagles will swarm in to town searching for food! It makes for great photographic opportunities! I could not believe how many of them would congregate!
