Hello Outer Banks!
I finally made it over to the Outer Banks! I woke my kids early and took them for a drive. We went and visited the Bodie Lighthouse and Coquina Beach.
So as promised, here are the first pictures of the lighthouse! Unfortunately I missed the sunrise color I had hoped for so hopefully I’ll catch it another morning. I will definitely be going back!
The lighthouse was beautiful! It was fairly peaceful and quiet at 7 in the morning. I can’t wait to go back and climb it!
The kids loved spotting crabs in the marsh. They found a big blue one!
Coquina Beach had a bunch of cute little crabs everywhere! We found a few larger ones too! I enjoyed the peace and quiet and loved watching the little sand pipers dashing around. They were so cute rushing around the waves, darting in and out. I just love those little guys!
